Tommy Cooper - "Just like that!"

Anyone of a certain age will remember the late great Tommy Cooper with enormous fondness. Wearing his trademark red Fez - strictly speaking a Tarboosh - his act was a unique blend of silly comedy and magic, usually in the form of carefully choreographed failures which suckered the audience into his routine.

His enduring catchphrase, "Just like that', became universally known and widely imitated at the height of his popularity in the 1970s. Ironically his death during a live TV broadcast in April 1984 was the final curtain call for this towering figure
