A fantastic crystal cut Stuart glass dish which easilydraws the eye with an attractive fuchsia pattern, this striking piece comes complete with the manufacturers name etched upon the base, a clear hallmark of the quality of this product. This piece comes displayed in a marked navy blue display box.
The Stuart story began when Frederick Stuart started work at the Redhouse Glassworks near Stourbridge in the West Midlands in 1827, an area well known for English glassmaking in the 19th Century. Stuart Crystal today is synonymous with the finest English crystal and popular with collectors around the world.
Fine quality crystal will maintain its colour and brilliance, irrespective of usage, but it is recommended that this piece is washed individually in warm soapy water and should not be put in a dishwasher. In addition, crystal glass cannot endure sudden temperature changes, therefore avoid very hot water and pouring cold liquids into a warm bowl.
